Such a great experience !
Our move was from upstate New York to North Carolina, and it exceeded our wildest expectations. Jeff Carle came to us to review what needed to be moved, and sent back an estimate that same evening. On the day of the move, Marty and the Arnoff crew arrived exactly on time, and had the truck loaded carefully and incredibly fast. Such nice guys, and their hustle meant we were able to get on the road 3 hours sooner that we expected. (Hughly helpful, as there was a January ice storm coming the next day.) Deb Barinka did all of the scheduling and coordination between Arnoff and North American, and helped us with tons of questions on the move, including getting us some custom boxes that we needed for delicate items. She constantly kept us informed of the details and progress. (What a pleasure. That’s so rare these days. Apologies if we appeared as ‘Nervous Nellies’…that’s exactly what we are !) And Dennis Dew and Anthony handled the NC leg of the move by North American, giving us updates on where they were and when they might deliver. Dennis is an expert operator, maneuvering these small streets, and our stuff was handled with care. They were able to deliver in just one week ! Overall this was such a great experience. Quick and easy. Thanks to you all !
The Best!
From the time the company rep came to look at our home, to Denise coordinating everything, to the packers, and then the owner/operator Kurt who took our most important possessions to our new home all in perfect order. I hope we don’t have to move again, but if we do, Arnoff will do the move. 5 Stars!!

This review is specific to Arnoff Moving & Storage Poughkeepskie Branch. We are writing this honest review to let others know about our experience with the company. We are moving overseas for a permanent change of station (PCS). Arnoff (Poughkeepskie) was the moving and storage company assigned to us. It took them only 2 days to pack and ship all of the stuff in the 3-bedroom apartment. First day was spent packing almost all of our items except the bigger ones. All the guys from Day #1 did great. Packing day went smooth without any issue whatsoever. There were 4 guys (Raul, Keith, Dean, & Pete) that came in Day #2 which was spent mostly moving all of the packed and boxed items. There were some more items (small and bigger ones) left from Day 1 that needed to be packed. Only 1 person from Day 1 came back on Day 2 and that was Raul. As usual, we noticed Raul is really good at what he does as we observed that he packed the items thoroughly with care. Although Keith at one point looked like he did not know how to pack an iMac desktop, he at least made an effort to do so. Dean was ok too. Now, lets talk about the issues that went down on Day 2. The 4th guy named Pete or Peter is mainly the reason why we wanted to share this review about our experience. Initially, Pete came in as the guy that checks off the inventory list for boxes that he tagged and goes out of the door. We started noticing a problem with Pete when a box went out without a tag. Driver and crew were professional and fabulous. Beautiful job wrapping our possessions and very efficient. Amazing to watch. Moving is emotional and they were most compassionate. Office staff very professional!!!
Great Job!
They were very patient after most stuff was loaded, we needed time to pack up some final items and decide if they were going on the moving van or in our car. This really helped.
