It’s time to introduce our first Expert in the Field for 2022: Paul Frenza. Paul is a Warehouse Supervisor in Malta who oversees order fulfillment for our manufacturing customers.
Within the order fulfillment process, Paul and the team work nearly 24/7 to keep all the parts organized and process order requests within a 30-minute notice to ship anywhere in the world. This area of our business, like many others, requires everything to run efficiently. If a tool breaks down at a manufacturing facility, every second that production line is down is critical to the company. The sooner we get the parts out, the sooner that line gets back up and running.
Originally from the lower Hudson Valley, Paul attended college to become a music teacher. He spent time in the Capital Region during his student teaching days and loved it so much he would eventually move back to Saratoga County where he currently resides with his wife and daughter.
In the Fall of 2020, Paul began his career with Arnoff when a friend, and current member of our team, told him to apply for a position with us in our final mile department. Paul had some experience in logistics, and we thought he’d make a great addition to the order fulfillment team instead.
Even with 10 team members, the daily responsibilities can make for a busy workday. Paul’s favorite part of the job is how active it can be, both physically and mentally. There’s a myriad of tasks to be done on any given day and you can’t help but feel a sense of accomplishment when you’re actively working and problem solving.
Those in logistics and warehousing know the job involves a problem-solving attitude. The recent onboarding of a new customer has been the most memorable experience so far as the team has worked to efficiently handle the organization and fulfillment of parts that is specific to the needs of the customer.
Paul believes one can be successful by “working hard and not getting too frustrated,” especially when you’re just starting out. He had a lot to learn when he started with Arnoff and talks about how patience and support from others on the team helped him learn the necessary skills and knowledge.
Although Paul has not been part of the A-Team long, through hard work and dedication to learning the job, he has quickly become an expert with a positive influence on our order fulfillment department and on those he works with.
